Reverse Engineering is the process of dimensionally characterizing a physical object and then creating a specification that describes the characterization.
This can be a very cost effective way of extending a products life span when it is no longer available as an off the shelf OEM part.
We utilize high point density inspection to digitize the part.
We port the resulting data set to CAD and build a solid. From there w can supply IGES files and/or develop 2D drawings as needed by the customer.
